Africa’s Stolen Treasure Returns — Are You Ready?🤴🏾👸🏾
The Crusaders RETURN in Episode 2 of my African graphic novel series
Alkebulanians,
If you know my work, you know my mission: tell the True History of Africa, specifically focusing on the parts hidden from us.
One of my most popular videos was on Oba Ovonramwen and the Benin Bronzes, looted by the British Empire in the late 1800s when they attacked the Kingdom Of Benin to seize their territory, and exile the great Oba.
Most of those stolen artefacts remain in the British Museum today.
That story inspired The Crusaders, Nigerian but British-born sibling adventurers who reunite their childhood team of heroes to recover The Sun Blade, an ancient artefact hidden from the colonial looters, and return it to the Benin Kingdom.
Episode 1 was released only a month after I started my Pan-African platform many years ago and now, with the support of my independent funding group The 300…
THE CRUSADERS: HUNT FOR THE SUN BLADE Episode 2 is being released in a few weeks, it’s almost twice the size of Episode 1 and it’s AWESOME!
This is the first project funded by The 300!
I can’t wait to show the community what we’ve achieved in only our first Quarter (Q1)!
What is The 300? Check out the post at the bottom of this message.
The Crusaders Episode 1 hit #30 in the global Amazon graphic novel charts.
Episode 2? We can get that #1 spot!
This latest instalment takes the family’s quest to Senegal and the Congo, blending adventure with real African history.
Who said learning the truth about our heritage had to be boring?
The series is suitable for ages 7-18+
