Hi Alkebulanians,
I hope 2025 is going well for you and that you're pushing forward toward your goals.
As we moved into the new year and the latest cycle of events out of Africa came across my desk, I remembered a story I covered over a year ago about Erik Prince, the founder of the private military group Blackwater.
He’d said that ‘Africans are incapable of governing themselves’ and he advocated for the West recolonising Africa.
I’m not going to go into the ins and outs of how ridiculous a statement it is but his words do have relevance in the context of what I believe we must do as Africans if we are to ever be free and propserous.
We must seek true and total autonomy.
Late last year I released The Back To Africa Handbook which has done great.
I was set to launch the Kickstarter campaign this month for the first True History Of Africa series on Nigeria with Ethiopia, Ghana and South Africa to follow.
But something changed.
The rise of the Sahel Alliance—Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso—has inspired a new path for me.
For us.
Yesterday, I released The State of the African Union 2025.
Watch it here before reading further for important context on what I’m going to say.
Autonomy is the only path to freedom for Africa and the diaspora.
It is critical for our education and information. Our art and our media.
300 Spartan warriors defeated the Persian army and showed the remarkable feats that can be achieved by a small number of people if committed and focused.
That's why I’m stepping away from traditional crowd sourcing and membership platforms (Patreon, Kickstarter, GoFunme, YouTube Adsense) and instead I’m launching The Three Hundred—a private initiative where 300 committed members will vote on and fund projects four times a year.
Something we own and control.
✅ No outside influence.
✅ No algorithms or censorship.
✅ No recurring charge—just your good faith commitment.
How it works:
We meet quarterly (once every three months) to vote on a list of projects such as—graphic novels (completion of the last 5 episodes of The Crusaders), educational films, The True History Of Africa series, even tangible projects like launching an indigenous chocolate bar to support cocoa farmers in Ghana and Ivory Coast.
Minimum contribution is $100 per quarter or more if member’s wish.
I will execute the project and deliver it before we vote on the next one.
This will replace my Patreon, TikTok, and Instagram memberships and will exist off-grid in a private WhatsApp channel.
Meetings will be private via a secure link I will send to the members. We keep the details of the meetings confidential until the release of the project for that quarter.
This is not for everyone.
⚠️ If you can’t commit, please don’t apply.
This must be easy for you. No pressure, no ego.
If it would be a strain that's okay and you can ignore this message.
If you’re serious and ready to act…
Spots are capped at 300 and many places have already gone since I announced this yesterday—I will not accept more than 300 people at this time to maintain the integrity and manageablitiy of the group.
We know what is wrong with Africa and the diaspora.
We must be part of the solution.
PAY ATTENTION
This is much needed! I’m glad I found you here on Substack, I’ve only been here for one month and have gotten a wealth of information and knowledge 🤞🏾
