Keep doing your thing bro. I relate to this thought piece. The manufactured FBA vs. Diaspora battling online pains me. I never thought I'd see so many Black people in America divest themselves of Pan African politics. Still I know that there is an emerging awareness across the diaspora that knows better. Salute!

So love you brother. I am American and believe we have what we work for.

Bellyaching about 'the man' is so beneath us that it plonges us below the cry baby leftists in Washington.

I am The Man and am looking around for men like you to associate with to shift consciousness in America.

Keep up the good work!

This is sad but I totally get what you are saying and I feel the same way. I recently wrote about this here: https://open.substack.com/pub/henrytwagirayezu/p/a-guilty-conscience-needs-no-accuser?r=1ix7vb&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false. It's kind of insane how a lot (not all) of black Americans want to pick and choose when to be associated with "us" and the continent as a whole. They are JUST like us when it comes to policing optics and doing trivial shit like gatekeeping dashikis from white folks but once we move past the shallow form of politics their neoliberal SHILL leaders have indoctrinated them into holding so dear, that's when the fragmentation, and verbal abuse begin to emerge. Just be grateful no one called you a bootscratcher or sumn lol

So I don’t think you’re wrong. Completely believe in the power of AA and our cultural capital. I do find your approach abrasive but I too am and the style gets shits done. Now, everyone for the majority isn’t wired like this, which leads to said pushback. I guess my thought is there are different and better ways to educate our folks on the matter. However, radical change is needed and that requires radical approaches.

Thanks for getting this art out and the convo going.

Without doubt you have that revolutionary spark armed with deep insights including with Blk Americans, however you came off a bit patronizing with all the generation trauma talk . Remember black people are humans , keep in my the latter part for all the good and bad and inbetween .

Fractured souls lead with fractured minds. Until our fellow sisters and brothers heal within, it will be very difficult to heal as a collective. I know my role in this vision is to teach natural wellness as a path to liberation. Merc, you are ascending in your own purpose to use history and education as tools to liberate. Each of us plays a part, even those of us caught on the hook. Many ancestors have preached the same wisdoms long before any us were born and our children will have to continue the mission. There is a past and future where our corrected reality already exists. Some will make it. Some won't. The WE is gestating but the birth is inevitable.

I agree that we all need to be together but the fractured mind comment comes off as patronizing. If you wanna reach people respect their human nature without compromising your message .

Fractured minds are not human nature. It's the result from chronic terror/stress/trauma maladapted from dehumanist colonizers and the like. You can perceive my comment as whatever you like, but patronizing is incorrect and untrue. Not every word should be over scrutinized or presumed as negative or offensive. That only creates more fracture.

With this thinking you won't be liberating anyone . Just heaping your ego onto the pile .

The perspectives are patronising to YOU. That is fine but you are trying to make your own personal sensitivities the general status quo. If that were true MOST people would react to my article and videos how you do. They most definitely do not. That means you have two options. Either accept this is your perspective and maybe you need to do some soul searching as to why it bothers you so much or two, you can simply ignore such articles that don't align with your style of communication. The way you are talking is WAY more patronising than what you espouse, with this idea of 'ego' and making statements of the effect of my words or the O.P. as if you have the defining perspective. If you can't see the irony in that I don't know what to tell you. I recall you even saying this on my LIVE so it seems you can't let it go.

Merc,

This is not the level at which you need to engage my friend. It is just a rabbit hole.

Keep on task, we do not need to quibble among ourselves.

Cheers all!

Wow. Disappointed bro. I was expecting you to be someone who could bring a real nuance with fire to the fight . But it seems the folly of man is upon you. Maybe with some self-clarification this can be surmounted . As of now this down to the roots elitism will only lead to 5 dollar words, ego sessions and quixotic thunder.

Best to you .

The lion so enchanted with his own roar, fails to hear the growth of the pride.

These responses are, frankly, downright embarrassing. More confirmation that ignorance does not discriminate......
