Welcome to The Assassination of Africa’s Greatest Leaders – WEEK 8 of 15
We are officially halfway through the series and we’ve had some really impactful stories. You can catch up on what you missed at the links at the end of this post.
"To resist is to exist. To fight is to live."**
Félix Moumié
The Voice of the Oppressed
This story is an interesting one, as the man we will be discussing is somewhat different from the types of leaders we’ve spoken of in previous instalments.
Félix Moumié was, in fact, a doctor before he became a freedom fighter.
Known as “the people’s doctor,” he was more than a physician—he was a revolutionary who fought tirelessly for Cameroon’s independence from French colonial rule.
His story would be apt for an espionage novel as the way he died was one of the more elaborate and calculated assassinations in this series.
