The video of Hillary Clinton's gleeful reaction to Gaddafi's death says so much
A deeper analysis of Hillary Clinton's role in the fall of the last great African leader and the resulting chaos in the Libyan vacuum he left in his wake
On perusing the internet researching for an article on why Africa is still economically poor, I stumbled on a short CNN clip of Hillary Clinton. It was the moment in the downtime of an interview in 2011 when an aide gave her a phone with information that Gaddafi had been captured. She questioned its veracity and the video ended. Then there are related videos in the sidebar.
I clicked on one and it was of Hillary finding out in that same mid-interview that Gaddafi had been killed. Her reaction was one of such glee that it startled me. She then made the most flippant joke, “We came, we saw, he died.” She threw her head back and laughed. It was genuine. Or as genuine as you can get from a career politician.
On my YouTube channel, I discussed my more general opinions about this video, but now I am going to give a pointed look at Clinton’s role in what has turned out to be the biggest mistake of Obama’s administration. Those are his words, not mine. I believe it’s worse than his biggest mistake. It’s the kind of act that when the sands of time settle, will stain his entire legacy for generations as the fall of Libya started a dramatic downturn in the African continent.
Gaddafi really was the glue holding the Pan-African movement together as he was the last of the African leaders that had that vision. If you buy into the Western media’s narrative, he was the worst man in Africa and NATO went in under the leadership of the US to ‘liberate’ the people of Libya. The truth is far more nefarious, the entirety of which is beyond the scope of this article. Regardless, I deliver a perspective focused on Africa and Africans to my audience. So, let’s talk about Hillary.
