Last week we laid the foundation for how we look at Cleopatra, her race, ancient Egypt and blackness in the context of that era. We were delving into the DNA argument which is one often cited by detractors of the black origin of Egypt and possible mixed race heritage of Cleopatra.
I would like to start this week’s instalment by introducing you to someone that raises serious questions about the lineage of one of the most famous of Egyptian Pharaohs.
