Last week, the United States tried to build an Ebola quarantine facility in Kenya to hold its own citizens. No, not Kenyans, Americans.

This is part 1 of 6

It would have been a 50-bed facility built by the US on a Kenyan air force base.

As if this wasn’t crazy enough, here’s the part that really solidifies what was going on there. If one of those quarantined Americans actually got sick, they wouldn’t be treated in Kenya. They’d be flown to Europe.

It’s already happened this outbreak. A US doctor who caught Ebola in the DRC went to Germany. Another exposed American went to the Czech Republic.

So Kenya wouldn’t be getting a hospital to help their people, they would be getting used as a holding pen. A place to find out who’s infected, then ship the valuable patients to Europe and leave everyone else behind.

They won’t risk these people bringing Ebola home to America. But they’ll happily risk Kenyans catching it. You’re going to do to us what you won’t do to yourselves.

At the end of the day these are deals and that means Kenya has to be getting something out of this (or at least William Ruto and his adminsitration who signed it) right? Check this nonsense out…

Marco Rubio offered around $13.5 million for “Ebola preparedness.”

Sounds generous. Actually no it isn’t, that’s peanuts for what they’re asking of Kenya.

Regardless, there’s another factor that gives this amount context.

It’s a steep cut from the hundreds of millions the US used to give Kenya in health funding. So they’re actually paying less and demanding more. That’s the whole game.

With all the madness, there is some good news.

A Kenyan rights group, the Katiba Institute, took this to the High Court and the judge sided with them and suspended the whole plan.

At least someone over there has some sense.

Even America’s own CDC apparently advised against the facility.

So if the doctors say no, and the CDC says no, who’s pushing it?

Simple answer.

Donny T and Rubio. The US government in conjunction with William Ruto and the Kenyan government. Kenya’s medical union chair, Davji Atela, gave a great quote.

He then went on to call it a ‘containment colony.’

Remember that phrase. Because those doctors didn’t pick it for drama.

They picked it because they know their history.

And Kenya has lived this exact story before.

Twice.

For the first time in 60 years, Nigeria is refining its own oil from its own refinery built by an African billionaire entirely with African money.

But the World Bank didn’t congratulate us for not needing them or the IMF. The World Bank told Nigeria to open up its market to foreign fuel imports for competition.

I’m going to tell you who created this refinery, why it matters to Africa, and why the World Bank must destroy it.

Nigeria struck oil in Oloibiri in 1956, joined OPEC in 1971, and is one of the largest oil producers on planet. Yet for nearly 70 years, we ship all our oil abroad to be refined, then it’s sold back to us at a markup.

We’ve had four state-owned refineries all dead with over $25 billion spent on repairs that did nothing. Nigeria has 230 million people sitting on an ocean of oil.

Yet one of our main imports is oil.

Since I was a teenager, I, like many Nigerians, asked, why can’t we have our own refinery? And now, one Nigerian has done it.

Aliko Dangote built a refinery, pumping out 650,000 barrels a day.

The largest single-train refinery in the world.

In 70 years of extracting from us, Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil and Total refused to give Nigeria what Dangote has, what every Nigerian government failed to do since independence.

And in January this year, Nigeria stopped issuing petrol import licenses because for the first time in generations, local capacity now covers the market.

Three months later, the World Bank told us to reopen our markets to imports.

During a global oil spike and chaos caused by the Iran War, they want Nigeria to go back to depending on foreign supply, after polluting the environment in the Niger Delta and leaving our people in poverty.

Nigeria, Africa, enough is enough.

A continent which cannot refine its own fuel is controlled by the countries that can. And they want us as neocolonial slaves while they teach their children that Africans can’t take care of themselves.

This is the same World Bank that gave us structural adjustments in the 1980s, told us to devalue our currencies, privatise our industries and open our markets, destroying our manufacturing sector and tripling our debts.

Now they want us to do the same thing in 2026. That is absolutely ridiculous.

Aliko Dangote is now an African hero and has set a precedent for what is possible when wealthy Africans actually care about African sovereignty.

Welcome to this week’s instalment. This is a serious one and I suggest you take the time to read this entire post beginning to end.

It took me a while to put together but it’s worth it.

There’s a saying that money makes the world go round. That is not more evident anywhere in the world than in Africa. The truth is, if you want to control a continent, you don’t need a standing army. You just need to control its central bank.

For decades, the historical reality of Francophone Africa has been defined by a quiet, invisible chain called the CFA Franc. If you haven’t seen my docu film The Franc Zone, I’m linking it below.

The CFA Franc is a monetary system where 14 West African nations have their financial sovereignty dictated by Paris, ensuring that true economic independence remains impossible. You cannot build a sovereign nation when a foreign capital holds the keys to your treasury and dictates the value of your labour.

But with the AES, that paradigm just shattered.

On December 23, 2025, the finance ministers of Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso met in Bamako and executed one of the most dangerous moves in modern African history. They officially activated the Confederation Bank for Investment and Development of the Alliance of Sahel States (BCID-AES).

This is a BIG TIME move guys and this is why.

This bank bypassed the BCEAO, the central bank mechanism that enforces the CFA Franc and launched with a starting capital of 500 billion CFA, roughly $895 million USD. That’s a LOT of cash right there.

Let me be clear about why this terrifies the West.

This is not debt. This is not an IMF loan with crippling structural adjustment conditions attached. This is subscribed capital, backed by the hard, tangible assets of the AES nations. Mali and Burkina Faso are bringing immense gold reserves, while Niger is bringing the uranium that quite literally keeps the lights on in Europe.

Remember when I told you that 30% of French power comes from Niger’s Uranium.

To protect this capital, these nations have been aggressively rewriting the legal frameworks that allowed foreign entities to exploit them.

First, in August 2025, Mali adopted a new mining code, increasing state and local ownership from 20% to 35%.

Then Burkina Faso followed suit in July 2025, raising the state’s free stake to 15% and mandating local investor inclusion. By headquartering the BCID-AES in Niamey, Niger, the very country the West has tried hardest to isolate, the Alliance is planting a flag. They are building the infrastructure to fund their own roads, their own power grids, and their own defence systems.

This is not rocket science.

When you print your own money and control your own resources, the architecture of neo-colonialism starts to crack. The empire knows this.

But let me be honest with you. The AES is not out of the woods. Not even close. $895 million is a powerful statement of intent, but it is modest capital when you’re trying to bankroll the sovereign development of three nations simultaneously.

These countries still face active jihadist insurgencies, limited international banking relationships, and the massive challenge of building institutional credibility from scratch. The BCEAO, whatever its colonial baggage, has decades of infrastructure behind it. That’s exactly what makes this moment so critical.

The AES is in a race. If the BCID-AES becomes fully operational and solvent later this year, the Sahel Alliance becomes exponentially harder to break. Every month the bank survives and grows, the leverage shifts.

That is exactly why the retaliation has already begun.

Assassination plots. A uranium stockpile held hostage on a runway. A French nuclear giant physically expelled from African soil. And one pipeline project that connects all of it, the bank, the uranium, the killings, into a single map.

That’s where this gets truly dangerous and I will tell you all about it in the premium section below with revelations that will reveal, to those of you serious about understanding what is going on, how serious a situation Africa is in right now and why this could change everything for the continent. 👇🏾

Something outrageous is happening in the West African nation of Niger. It’s a hostage situation but it’s not humans that are being held for ransom.

It’s nuclear.

Right now, roughly 1,000 tons of Nigerien uranium, a supply called “yellowcake,” is sitting trapped at Base 101 in Niamey, Niger. This isn’t some theoretical wealth. It is approximately $300 million worth of tangible, concentrated power.

It was secured by 34 heavy transport trucks that arrived from the Arlit mining region back in December, and as of late March, it remains boxed in by defensive grids near the drone hangars.

The location is actually an interesting aspect of this situation.

Base 101 is the very facility that Niger recently seized back from American control. Yeah, remember that story I brought to you over a year ago?

It is now secured by Russian military advisors and the Presidential Guard of General Abdourahamane Tchiani. But here is where the neo-colonial playbook gets insidious.

The West couldn’t keep the physical base, so they are utilising every institutional lever to ensure Niger cannot actually sell its own resources.

On September 23, 2025, the World Bank’s International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) ruled that Niger cannot sell it’s own uranium to third parties.

This is obviously outrageous. And this collusion doesn’t end there.

The British maritime insurer Lloyd’s then refused to cover any vessel that would carry it, making it essentially impossible to ship.

This is the very essence of a siege strategy. When you control every level of international commerce and finance, you don’t need guns. You can fight with insurance algorithms, international courts, and banking regulations.

The West knows that if Niger can export this uranium, the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) secures the massive, immediate liquidity needed to fully capitalise its new, independent BCID bank. This is a story I will be bringing you next week.

If that cargo flies, the CFA Franc, the mechanism of French financial control over West Africa, dies. It’s that simple.

The pressure is mounting. On February 7th 2026, Niger officially nationalised the SOMAIR mine, legally stripping the French state-owned energy giant Orano of its assets.

The gloves are fully off. But physical control of the mine means nothing if you can’t bypass the blockade. What good is merchandise if you can’t get it to the buyers?

Well, there’s another player in the game.
